The adult formula
The science behind Neuropic Pro
From focused mornings to mentally demanding afternoons, Pro brings together L-theanine, Lion’s Mane, Rhodiola and Panax ginseng, alongside guarana and essential B vitamins.
01 / L-theanine + Guarana
Focus that keeps up with your day
L-theanine and guarana sit at the heart of Pro’s focus blend. Human research has explored L-theanine paired with caffeine, as well as guarana itself, for attention and performance during demanding tasks.
What the research found
More accurate task-switching with an L-theanine and caffeine combination in a controlled adult trial.
Greater alertness and less reported tiredness in that same trial.
Faster responses on cognitive tasks in a review of eight guarana studies, although accuracy was not improved.
In Neuropic Pro: 200 mg L-theanine + 682 mg guarana extract per 2 gummies. The guarana provides 150 mg natural caffeine.
Read the studies
L-theanine combination and attention · 2010 ↗Double-blind, placebo-controlled trial; 44 young adults. A combination of 97 mg L-theanine and 40 mg caffeine improved task-switching accuracy and alertness, and reduced reported tiredness.
Guarana and cognitive response time · 2023 ↗A meta-analysis of eight placebo-controlled studies involving 328 participants found a small improvement in response speed with guarana. Studied doses ranged from 37.5–500 mg; seven studies were double-blind and one was single-blind.
02 / Lion’s Mane + Panax ginseng
A closer look at memory
Lion’s Mane and Panax ginseng have attracted interest for their effects on memory and cognition. Trials in older adults with mild cognitive impairment offer a useful look at why these botanicals are studied.
What the research found
Higher cognitive assessment scores with Lion’s Mane after 8, 12 and 16 weeks in a small placebo-controlled trial.
Better immediate visual recall with Panax ginseng in a six-month trial.
Better delayed visual recall in that same ginseng trial, including recall after 20 minutes.
In Neuropic Pro: Lion’s Mane equivalent to 1,500 mg + Panax ginseng equivalent to 1,000 mg per 2 gummies.
Read the studies
Lion’s Mane and cognitive function · 2009 ↗Double-blind, placebo-controlled trial; 30 adults aged 50–80 with mild cognitive impairment. Participants took 3 g of tablets containing 96% Lion’s Mane dry powder daily for 16 weeks. Cognitive assessment scores were higher than placebo at weeks 8, 12 and 16.
Panax ginseng and visual memory · 2019 ↗Randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial; 90 adults with mild cognitive impairment. Taking 3 g of Panax ginseng powder daily for six months improved immediate and delayed visual recall on specific memory tests.
Pro’s Lion’s Mane and ginseng amounts are raw-ingredient equivalents from 10:1 extracts. These trials used powdered preparations.
03 / Choline
A building block for brain signalling
Choline has a different role from the botanicals in Pro. It is an essential nutrient the body uses to make both chemical messengers and structural components of cells.
Why choline earns its place
Brain signalling: choline is needed to make acetylcholine, a messenger involved in memory, mood and nervous-system function.
Cell structure: the body uses choline to make phospholipids, important components of cell membranes.
Per 2 Neuropic Pro gummies: 33 mg choline.

Choline: essential nutrition and brain function ↗The NIH Office of Dietary Supplements explains how the body uses choline to make acetylcholine, a chemical messenger involved in memory, mood and nervous-system function. Choline is also needed to make important components of cell membranes.
04 / Rhodiola rosea + Black maca
When the day asks a little more
Rhodiola has been studied during periods of stress-related fatigue, while maca research has explored mood and perceived energy. Together, they bring two distinct areas of botanical research into the Pro formula.
What the research found
Less stress-related fatigue with a standardised Rhodiola extract in a 28-day adult trial.
Improvements in selected attention measures in the same Rhodiola trial.
Reported improvements in mood and perceived energy in a 12-week study of maca extracts, with results varying by variety and altitude.
In Neuropic Pro: Rhodiola equivalent to 1,000 mg + black maca equivalent to 15,000 mg per 2 gummies.
Read the studies
Rhodiola and stress-related fatigue · 2009 ↗Randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial; 60 adults with stress-related fatigue. Taking 576 mg of standardised SHR-5 Rhodiola extract daily for 28 days improved fatigue symptoms and selected measures of attention.
Maca, mood and perceived energy · 2016 ↗Randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled study of 3 g daily of spray-dried red or black maca extract for 12 weeks. Researchers reported improvements in mood and perceived energy, with the strongest findings generally seen with red maca and results varying by altitude.
Pro’s Rhodiola and black maca amounts are raw-ingredient equivalents from 10:1 and 100:1 extracts respectively. The studies used SHR-5 Rhodiola and spray-dried maca extracts.
05 / Panax ginseng + Vitamins B3 & B12
